- Local Storage: All your financial data, transactions, budgets, debts, and receipt photos are stored locally on your device. We do not collect, transmit, or store this data on any external servers.
- No Ads: We do not serve advertisements, and we do not track your behavior for advertising purposes.
3. Backup and Restore
You have the option to back up your financial records (ZIP format) and export transactions (CSV format). These backups can be saved locally on your device, to a memory card, or to your personal Google Drive account. If you choose to use Google Drive or Android's automatic backup features, your data is governed by Google's privacy policies and security measures.
4. Permissions Required
To provide full functionality, My Money may request the following permissions on your device:
- Storage / Camera / Photos: To allow you to attach receipt photos to your expense records and to save or restore backup files securely.
- Biometrics / Fingerprint / Face Authentication: To provide the App Lock security functionality. Authentication happens entirely locally on your device, and we do not access or collect your biometric data.
5. Third-Party Services
Because the app operates primarily offline, it does not share personal financial data with third-party services. As mentioned, utilizing Google Drive for backups is a direct interaction between you and Google.
6. Security
We value your trust in providing us with your data. We provide standard in-app security features (such as PIN, fingerprint, or face authentication lock) to help protect your financial records. Please ensure your device itself is secured to prevent unauthorized access.
