Who these Terms apply to

These Terms of Service are an agreement between you and Apex Software House (developer: Azhar Mohammed Amin Patel, Taloja, Maharashtra 410208, India). They apply to every Android app listed below, and each app also has the specific terms shown further down this page. By installing or using an app you accept these Terms. If you do not agree, please uninstall the app.

Apps covered by these Terms:

Licence to use the apps

We grant you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable licence to install and use each app on Android devices you own or control, for lawful personal or business purposes. You must not copy, resell, rent or redistribute an app, reverse engineer it except where the law allows, remove its notices, or use it to break the law or the rights of others.

Your information and responsibilities

You keep ownership of the information you enter and the files you open in an app. You are responsible for that information, for keeping backups, and for how you use the results. We cannot recover data that is stored only on your device.

Purchases

Some apps offer paid features as one-time purchases through Google Play, as described in the app sections below. Payment, receipts and refunds are handled by Google Play under its own terms.

Third-party services

The apps are distributed through Google Play and are also subject to Google's terms. Some apps display advertising from third-party services, as shown on their Google Play listings. We are not responsible for services, ads or websites provided by others.

Intellectual property

The apps, their code, design, name and logos belong to Apex Software House. Books, texts and other content shown in the reading apps belong to their authors and rightsholders and are made available for personal reading and study.

Disclaimers

Each app is provided as is and as available, without warranties of any kind, to the extent the law allows. The apps provide tools and information only. They are not financial, tax, legal, medical or religious advice, and you should rely on a qualified professional for such matters. We do not promise that an app will be error-free or always available.

Limitation of liability

To the extent the law allows, Apex Software House and its developers are not liable for indirect, incidental or consequential loss, or for loss of data, profits or business arising from your use of an app. Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law.

Updates and changes

We may update the apps and these Terms. The latest Terms are always on this page, with the date shown above. If you keep using an app after a change, you accept the updated Terms.

Ending use

You may stop using an app at any time by uninstalling it. We may suspend or end access to an app if these Terms are breached or if the app is discontinued.

Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of India.

App-specific terms

Khata Book: specific terms

Khata Book is a record-keeping and billing tool. You are responsible for the accuracy of the entries, tax rates and invoices you create, and for following the tax and accounting laws that apply to your business. The app is not accounting, tax or legal advice.

Your records are kept on your device. Keep your own backups; uninstalling the app or clearing its data can permanently remove them.

All-in-One PDF Tools & Reader: specific terms

Use the app only with files you have the right to edit, convert, sign or unlock. You are responsible for the documents you create and for keeping copies of your originals.

The app can unlock a protected PDF only when you provide its password. Converted files may differ in layout from the original, so check results before relying on them.

The PDF reader is free. The other 24 tools are unlocked by a one-time payment through Google Play; refunds follow Google Play's policies.

Trade Journal: specific terms

Trade Journal is a personal record-keeping and analysis tool. Nothing in the app is investment, financial or tax advice, and past results do not guarantee future results. Figures and statistics are calculated only from the entries you make.

The Shariah-compliant mark is a label you apply yourself to a trade; it is not a religious ruling by the developer.

The free version tracks up to 5 stocks. Pro is a one-time purchase through Google Play; refunds follow Google Play's policies.

Masjid Board & Prayer Time: specific terms

Prayer, sunrise, zawal and makrooh times are calculated from the location and method you choose and may differ from your local mosque's timetable. Please confirm times with your mosque or a trusted local authority.

Mosque admins are responsible for the jamaat times, announcements and other content they display, and for keeping the 4-digit admin PIN private.

Tohfatul Bari: specific terms

Tohfatul Bari is a Shafi'i fiqh book by Maulana Muhammad Ibrahim Khatib. The text and original pages belong to their author and rightsholders. The app is provided for personal reading and study; do not copy or redistribute the content except as the law or the rightsholders permit.

The app presents a book and does not give personal religious rulings. For a specific question, consult a qualified scholar or mufti, and check citations against the original book.

Maktaba Shafi'iyya: specific terms

Books, fatawa and articles in the app are published under the research department of Darul Uloom Islamia Arabia Taloja and belong to their authors and rightsholders. Use them for personal reading and study, and do not copy or redistribute them except as the law or the rightsholders permit.

General fatawa and articles are not a substitute for advice on your own situation. Consult a qualified scholar or mufti for specific questions.

Electoral Roll Helper: specific terms

Electoral Roll Helper is an independent, privately developed tool for general information and reference. It is not affiliated with, endorsed by, authorised by or connected to any government organisation, election commission or official entity, and it does not represent any government body.

The records come from publicly available electoral roll data published by the Election Commission of India (voters.eci.gov.in). The app is not a substitute for official records; for any official purpose, refer to the Election Commission of India. We do not guarantee that the information is complete, current or error-free.

Use the information responsibly and lawfully. Do not use it to harass, threaten or discriminate against anyone, or in any way that breaks the law.

The app shows ads through Google AdMob. We are not responsible for the content of ads or of websites they link to.
